8 Pop a Ball gift sets, plus several other stocking fillers (thanks Avon :Wiiiine!: Not on the High Street worked great for me)

All but 2 of the Christmas gifts I needed to get, plus gift wrap service :canny:

I'll probably be away in November for a couple of weeks, so had to get organised early.

A pink top and trousers.

Teddy bear with Hallie's first Christmas 2018 on it.
Both part of Hallie's Christmas presents. She is going to be one spoiled baby from her nanny and granddad this year!

20 cigarettes.

Birthday card and West Brom track top for MrVC, it's his birthday today.

Daughters b-day was on the 14th. She decided we had to go to Smyths ( a point of order, it isn't Smiths :p ) toy store at The Fort for a slime carry case thingy. Colours where paradise pink and electric blue. With silver glitter ( a Hawkins moment, almost resolved calling it tinsel stuff ), another with opaque hexagons and third wee hearts triangle star mix. Also got a unicorn Owl ( a bag with owls, shortly after Luna and Celestia where acompanied by owls, still have them floating about the house). Ventured round to a avant gaurd burger joint arroun the corner where she mixed the activator with the slime. Only advantage was I could use a knife to open packaging. 17 quid for a plain burger, chicken burger and banana milkshake (when will these Brits learn they can't cook meat? Stick with dumplings, chicken broth soups, cottage/Shepards pies and stews). Was ment to go through on monday but injured my right flank some how ontop of the after effects of a broken rib on the left. Decided regardless how I felt on tuesday I was going to go regardless of time since the store closed at ten. On the train back to Hamilton we sat at a table mixing the colours and shiny things. Ticket tout for some reason decided to give me a return and never provided ticket for child ( another Hawkins moment, I was only able to indicat who else I needed a ticket for. Two tickets and non for a child? What was I going to do when placeing ticket in barrier? Turns out barrier had a malfunction so passed through unhindered. An interesting and fun day. Buses trains andtaxies, even the taxi driver was the guy I got after returning from london 6-8 months back. More or less picked up from where we left our last conversation.

you do get that this is a tongue in cheek exchange about places that teenagers won't look, not a practical advice column
