Fkn A !!!

I might go home soon! :twirl:

Could Scotland do another referendum and opt for independence from the UK, and renegotiate a deal with the EU if Brexit comes to fruition?

Not in the timescales left

But the EU said early on even if Scotland split before brexit happened but after the trigger was pulled that they would have to apply to join and go through the normal channels. The EU has little need for Scotland to join them so it would either take a long time or would never happen.

Plus like the who stupid backstop issue it would likely mean they would want a hard border between Scotland & England

A border - so what? Happens all over the World, nothing new. They did say we would be looked on favourably. Probably because they see we have more sense up here with the majority who voted to stay.

I shouldn't post this but all my tradespersons are hard leavers and think Theresa's doing a great job.

You do know why??? They're NEVER getting in, be sure of it. Their Human Rights need a tad adjusting. :wurms:
Fortunately Scotland have no such hindrances. It would merely be a formality.

It's set to be 2023 but I am sure it will change

Montenegro started the process 2012, their predicted membership date is 2025. Thats still quite some timescale
