He just does whatever he's told to by the party.

As the leader of the Party isnt that what he is supposed to do ?

"If Corbyn backs Brexit, he faces electoral catastrophe
The biggest Brexit survey yet shows Remain ahead – and Labour losing by a landslide in a general election if it does not oppose leaving the EU"

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... ougov-poll

"The conventional voting intention question produces a six-point Conservative lead (40% to 34%).
This is bad enough for an opposition that ought to be reaping electoral dividends at a time when the government is in crisis.

However, when voters are asked how they would vote if Labour failed to resist Brexit, the Conservatives open up a 17-point lead (43% to 26%).
That would be an even worse result than in Margaret Thatcher’s landslide victory in 1983, when Labour slumped to 209 seats, its worst result since the 1930s.

The key reason for this is that, if Labour is seen to facilitate Brexit in any form, YouGov’s results indicate that the party would be deserted by millions of Remain voters – without gaining any extra support from Leave voters."

Completely agree with the poll sentiments, but note that Corbyn hasn't facilitated Brexit in any shape or form.

The hours following May's defeat tomorrow will shape Corbyn's future - he knows where the party members stand, and although May might resign and a General Election called, I suspect that she might be forced to call a People's Vote instead. In that case Corbyn would campaign for Remain just like last time.

He needs to go on the attack more but lacks the assertiveness imo. He also needs to decide what he's more committed to, Remain or the door of number 10. He could look at Lammy's blistering speech the other day as an example of how he should be performing in the House, particularly at this time more than ever now. Pity the House was virtually empty when Lammy made that speech.

Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has suggested arming locals on the British territory with paintball guns to "splat" any Spanish ships entering water around Gibraltar.

Then we wonder why the world is laughing at us.

According to you in previous posts, Corbyn will do and say exactly what the party tells him to.

Hopefully - wouldn't be a democratic party if he did not, would it, Bumble?

@mrjamesob is not a huge fan of Mogg, he refers to him as a mewling pencil. I think that the feeling is mutual

That was a wonderful example of mutual disdain, they absolutely loathe each other.
Mogg refusing to answer questions suggests he lacks the courage of his own convictions.
