As for bombing Iran I don't think they would want to harm the civilian population and just focus on those trying to do Israel harm closer to home.

EU TO UNVEIL FINANCIAL MECHANISM TO SECURE TRADE WITH IRAN: REPORT

The EU is reportedly almost ready to present a new mechanizm to strengthen trade with Iran, amid US intensifying efforts to rally allies against the Islamic Republic.

On January 27th, Bloomberg cited two EU diplomats and a draft of an EU statement it the outlet has seen. According to the sources and the document, the special mechznizm could be presented as early as January 28th, which as of midday has not happened.

The document expresses the support of France, Germany and the UK of the financial mechanism, claiming it provides “a positive impact on trade and economic relations with Iran, but most importantly on the lives of Iranian people.”

It is to be discussed by the EU governments on January 28th and if approved by all 28 members released to the public.

The initiative is designed to shield European companies who wish to do business with Iran from US sanctions that could result from dollar-based transactions.

Unidentified helicopters are redeploying large numbers of ISIS members from Pakistan to Afghanistan’s border with Tajikistan, close to Russia’s southern border, Russian Interior Minister Igor Zubov stated on January 28.

Zubov added that it’s highly likely that large-scale provocations are being prepared in the area in order to trigger a humantiarian crisis and destabilize the situation near the Russian southern border.

In 2018, there were multiple reports about ‘unidentified helicopters’ evacuating ISIS members in Syria and assisting ISIS members in Afghanistan. Now, it seems that this tendency has increased.

US-LED COALITION WARPLANES STRUCK SYRIAN ARMY POSITION IN DEIR EZZOR

In the late hours of February 2, a warplane of the US-led coalition attacked an artillery position of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near the town of al-Bukamal in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

“At around 23:30 pm on Saturday 2-2-2019 the aviation of the international coalition conducted an airstrike on an artillery position of our forces operating in al-Sukkariya region to the west of Abu Kamal. As a result, an artillery piece was destroyed and two soldiers were injured,” the Syrian Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in an official statement.

The US-led coalition has not commented on the incident yet. In general, the coalition releases official statements on such incidents within a 24 hours.

Last December, the Syrian MoD accused the US-led coalition of launching ground-to-ground rockets at positions of the SAA’s 21st Brigade around the area of al-Tanaf. However, the coalition claimed that the attack targeted a commander of ISIS.

The SAA’s positions in al-Bukamal are preventing the besieged ISIS fighters in the middle Euphrates River Valley from reaching the terrorist group pocket in the Homs desert.

Just a few hours after a U.S. airstrike on Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in southern Deir Ezzor, ISIS fighters launched a major attack in the very same area.

According to the UK-based monitoring group, ISIS fighters were trying to open a route in order to escape from their besieged positions in the middle Euphrates River Valley to the terrorist group’s pocket in the Homs desert. However, the attempt failed.

The US-led coalition hit an artillery position of the SAA in the area injuring two service members several hours before the terrorist group’s attack. The timing of the coalition airstrike suggests that it may have triggered the attack.
