I had a roast in the pub at lunchtime

I think NYPD is in October but heck, I'll have yorkies with my liver to get into the spirit of things.

I’ve never had Venison :ooer:

Jack, I love liver thinly sliced, but no one else does so I very rarely cook it.... last time I ate it I was cooking some for my parents 2 dogs when I was looking after them... I shared it between the 3 of us!

You cook it in the same way as you do similar cuts of beef and it's very low fat so you may need some oil for frying or browning and cod fat from the butcher if you're tying roasting joints. I used to buy a whole roe deer for £45 from a local registered hunter. It was skinned and dressed to a point but I still had to primal and bone it. My dad came in the pub kitchen one time when I was manically sawing into a leg, totally covered in gore on the stainless steel island in the middle, took one look, said 'disgusting', walked out and barfed up in the toilet

Dinner? It's on the floor!!!

I caught the oven door with the tray I was using and down it went. And as I jumped back I caught the door with my knee - so now swollen knee. :grrrrr:

Least the dog had some....

Last night was a fry up. Beans, sausage, egg, bacon, and mushrooms.

Might do a bolognese tonight.
