Who doesn't love a blackjack :twirl: not had the worms though

My mouth waters thinking of them! :wubbers: Sour AF, but more-ish! Got a bag of them for an old biddy I met at hospital. Poor soul wants sweeties and God knows if anyone ever visits him.

I ended up with a well done roll and bacon. Just finished it.

Do you get Skittles in the UK? Those are my favourite lollies

Skittles are slightly different here than in Can/US. The purple ones taste of black currant  but in Canada they’re grape flavoured, like Vimto. Can’t stand black currant, the smell reminds me of cat piss. :ooer:

Delish uncle ben's coconut & lemongrass rice. With lots of boiled vegetables (spuds, broccoli, green beans). And some roast pork left over from yesterday's lunch.
The biz!!

Sushi, made it myself, easier than you think it’s going to be. (With trout slices).

Uh, no way Jose!
Cases of Anisakiasis are on the increase because of sushi. And having a worm hooked by endoscope and pulled out of my mouth is not what I want to be doing with my time..... :wurms:

Victorian ladies used to swallow a tapeworm for that very reason

Heard this story - dunno if true, but is believable - that they used to not let the patient drink water therefore dehydrating the tapeworm. Then they'd have the patient lean over a bowl of fresh water with their mouths open until the tapeworm came out!!! Have to get the head out of course, or it would just regrow. :ooer:

If it's correct, I am mighty glad medicine has moved on!!!! :run:

Yes, I'm warming to Guest's post re it being tendon damage of some sort. If not, I'll need to go over to another hospital nr where Vicky lives, as they deal with those sort of things.
