What's on the menu tonight? Course 6

An ALDI ready chicken pasta thing which right now isn't to bad. Both tired and can't be bothered. Not something we'll rush out and buy again but it's ok.
8 year old granddaughter was with my wife in there today and she had thirty quid in her purse.
I want to buy my grandad a nice present she says.
She's told grand dad would prefer she spent her money on herself but she's determined.
I'm going to buy him some beer he'll like that.
Oh he's fussy about his beer might not be a good idea.
I end up with four cans of 4.5% beer that I've not heard of before ... Hobgoblin.
At three and a half quid for four cans it's not going to be up to much is it.
Wrong it's a nice beer!
Wife tried to talk her out of it but she said he'll love the picture on the can and it's beer which I know he prefers over lager because I've heard him telling my mum.
Well done kid nice pint.

Made here in the UK too. Heard quite a few go on about it. I like the fact that Aldi & Lidl source a lot of our own products from home. Also nice trying some of their other menu from around the World.

Yes...I have had just 3 people cutting my hair over a span of 15 odd years ( From teens) One went back to his village..Another is working in Muscat...And now going steady with the third...

Too right.. same as us women. Once you get a decent cut no going back.

Maybe its because other Supermarket chains are very expensive !

When Jack Cohen first started Tesco, his philosophy was " stack it high, sell it cheap" but now Tesco is an upper market Supermarket , things have changed .

I stock up on boxes of mixed bottled ales from Lidl/Aldi... great value compared to other supermarkets for same brands too

And their " Boys Toys" (tools etc ) are a lot cheaper than DIY Supermarkets
