To the low IQ whinging gammon, direct contact through physical attacks like to the Greenpeace lady and the attack on Corbyn are more than OK but a bit of milkshake over them and the sky falls in! :pmsl: :pmsl: :pmsl:

Get tae fuck! :hand:

And Jo Cox? Are you suggesting she deserved to be attacked, and milkshakes replaced with battery acid --as per Jo Brand's suggestion?

If people are given free rein to disrupt and assault others just because they don't like their politics we heading toward anarchy.

You seem to think it okay for left wing types to assault right wing sorts but not vice versa, that is double standards is it not?

That fucking idiot who stabbed a Trump Baby Balloon got arrested and so should all these fuckers to stop these kind of assaults for good.

There's a great tradition of pelting rubbish actors / performers / politicians with all manner of missiles unlikely to cause harm except to their egos - rotten tomatoes and eggs being particular favourites. Many would say there's a greater need today especially for politicians, and I'm inclined to agree.

Of course, there's a line not to cross - no mob attacks, no injury etc - otherwise it's all good.

I will be gutted if Boris doesn't get a rotten tomato or two in the mush in the next few weeks, it's up to his minders to save him from embarrassment.

Agree, the physical stuff was way O.T.T.

Seems he's got 'previous' for man handling women. Here he is giving Hunts wife the tongue in front of an all male audience.

A reminder about Jeremy Hunt...

“He made a fortune at the taxpayers’ expense as monopoly supplier to a notorious quango where, by happy coincidence, his cousin sat on the Board. He became MP for SW Surrey where, by happy coincidence, his cousin had been MP previously. He became Minister in charge of Media & Culture where, by happy coincidence, he wound up steering his pals at Newscorp in the right direction. And he became Health Secretary partly because, by happy coincidence, his cousin is a lobbyist for the private health sector.”

Question Time 'presents' an hour of 'interesting' debate from Halifax tonight at 22:45 with Fiona Bruce doing her best to ensure the conversation goes the way Meltorn media either want it to go, or the way they're told to.

The expected debate will likely centre around anti-Semitism, more anti-Semitism, and probably anti-Semitic questions raised by carefully selected audience members shipped in from across the country, specifically to put forward questions on anti-Semitism to the panel that also includes someone who apparently 'works' for 'The Sun'.

There could be questions asked on anti-semitism within the Labour party by members of the Lib Dems, SNP, Brexit party (although we estimate all the Brexit party members are interested in is talking about their Nigel, so it could be an eye opener), and possibly questions on anti-Semitism by various Tory party members and councillors, all of whom could be planted (but not like trees) in the audience.

On the panel: Liz Truss MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Conservative; Caroline Flint MP, former shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Labour; Richard Walker, Managing Director of the frozen food chain, Iceland; Ayesha Hazarika, comedian, broadcaster and former adviser to Ed Miliband; and Tom Newton Dunn, the bloke who does stuff at The Sun.

If anyone can be bothered to watch, and who won't be otherwise re-painting their living room walls just to see and make sure the paint dries, there's the possibility of Bojo and Hunt being mentioned, after all, the BBC seem to think the Tory leadership election is actually a general election, just without the involment of other political parties.

You never know, there might even be some stuff mentioned about Brexit. Good luck to those with skin's thick enough to watch, and please remember to remove all items that can be launched at the TV in both anger and fustration, away to a safe space!

That was a bloody awful piece of mis-reporting.

I'm no fan of May, but in reality she ordered the review amid concerns about the vetting of ordinary volunteers such as parents who drive children to football practice and church flower arrangers.

And quite right too.

If you read the article carefully, it says that, while widely stating the aims of some mad bint called Helen Reece and perversely conjoining them to Mays reasoning.

Bruce is dire. Watch as she cosies up to the Tories and attacks the Labour representatives then tries to get the audience to join in. She should stick to antiques, she has no idea how to chair political debate.

She also lost the files on an inquiry in to child abuse...

Fullfact dismissed this myth as well:

Conclusion
She never said this. An academic wrote an article saying this when Theresa May was Home Secretary

https://fullfact.org/online/adoptions-sex-offenders/

Here is a Telegraph article from the time (2010) reporting on what the academic was arguing
