Summer holiday season is well and truly upon us folks :canny:

Saw this on FB and it made me giggle because it's soooo true, least in our house:

Day before...
Drop pooches off to stay at their (& my) best mate's house - 30 minutes, cos if I linger longer I'll cry a little.
Pack a case - an hour, tops
Hair/mani-pedi/body exfoliating & massage - around 3 hours

Departure day ...
Call awesome cleaning lady to remind her when to go water plants/tidy + fridge top-up and proper clean the day before I'm back.
Call a ride for airport run.
...and go

House is clean enough so won't bother cleaning,
Night before, make sure kids and animals are supposed to be where they're supposed to be, quick chat with neighbours to make sure they empty mail box, pack suitcase, shower, do nails and hair, go to bed.
On the day,...quick shower, get dressed, bit of make up, grab case and go...Easy!

Oh and empty the fridge.

You’ve got some fabulous places to go on both islands that I’d love to see one day.

All over the world just like everyone else but the closest and cheapest destinations are the pacific islands and of course Aussie.

My friends who been to NZ think it the most amazing country in the world, and that after they’ve done Thailand and South Africa etc.
I really must go.

My friends went up fox glacier and had some amazing experiences with hot springs and beaches over there, one of which had hot water flowing underneath the sand on the beach.
There videos were remarkable.
