Anyway each to their own
I actually admire these people for the stance they take, but for what?
I take it all these vegetarians/vegans don’t possess anything leather either?..... or is it just eating the animal that repulses them?
In neither so wouldn't know ...
Ok... so maybe a question for Bessie to answer then!..... anything leather in your household?
Probably! I only became veggie at the end of last year so I'm still learning. I avoid whenever possible using anything an animal has had to suffer for but some things are impossible, such as my medication which contains gelatine. There isn't an alternative and I can't stop taking the tablets. Other than that, I don't buy products that have come from animals if there is an alternative unless I absolutely have no choice.
I like the taste of some meat but I don't like the idea of an animal dying just to satisfy my taste buds when there is an alternative, plant based product that tastes just as good.
I'm not a militant vegetarian. I've never dictated to anyone, preached to anyone or criticised anyone for their meat eating choices. We al make our own choices.
By the way, try Quorn Southern Fried Burgers - absolutely delicious and way superior to Linda MacCartney's.

no fruit but every slice of bread gets spread with marmalade (I usually use brioche)
I've been known to put choc chunks in too

Chocolate and orange is a good combo, I may try that next week. The whole clan came for last nights dinner, not a morsel of the pudding left. And I made it from leftover burger buns, very nice.
Is it orange zest or do you use the juice? I only used lemon zest in mine.
