Not sure yet what’s for tea tonight.... but I am being badgered to make some Bakewell tarts, so I guess i’ll be starting them soon..... at least 2 dozen, or until I run out of ingredients!

Cauli cheese crisped cheesy baked pots bacon with a large dollop of home grown home made plum and chilli chutney.

I'm a bit particular about my cauliflower cheese, it doesn't need chutney.

Ever.

Home made chutney goes with everything.
Chutney on toast too!
This week should see the start of her making Piccalilli and that I can eat straight out the jar till the jar is empty ....

I got some pukka pies (one was pure beef steak, the other was steak-&-kidney).

Always adored them but the recipe has deffo been messed with. Maybe they changed the gravy?

Made Chicken Fahitas with homemade guacamole and salsa, a lot easier than it sounds.

I had a pub lunch today with one of my favourite people ever .... so it’s a chore having to cook later!

I just use a packet mix ... with a little extra cream so it ain’t too spicy!
