Our house is on fire — let’s act like it. We demand climate justice for everyone.

Ironically I'm on my hollybobs that week. I plan on being in the Piano bar with Raven and on the streets with SODEM at Whitehall Watch.
Personally I don't care where anyone does their activism as long as it's for the right thing, remain tend to rub along quite well with ER anyway

So far we have a choice between events in Penrith or Dumfries. Probably choose Scotland because they have better Aldis there.

Yes, heard that on the radio - fucking disgraceful.

Telling me having a log fire and driving my vehicles is to blame is bollox when you're ripping the lungs of the world out!
Those forests and new ones should be growing especially with the increased CO2 available and they will drink in the CO2 and return oxygen.
Everyone should be planting stuff that breathes CO2 in and oxygen out.

That's the bit I don't get Jack. I learnt about trees/plants taking in CO2 and emitting oxygen in school...a long time ago. How in the hell have people forgotten or never actually known this happens? It's the obvious solution of something that is produced naturally and has been for, well all time to date.
Despite this we have rapacious corporations ripping out forests for grazing cattle, growing stuff or for it's hardwoods. We have councils removing trees, areas cleared for corporate house builders, gardens being a thing of the past. None or next to none in new builds, sold off for another house in older large garden properties or paved over with a patio heater, barbecue and a place for cars.
