Candles and tea lights flickering away are the best thing about early dark, dismal evenings :wubwub: ... lighting them early for a warm and cosy atmosphere :wubbers:

we just moved to standard time here in ca.....gets dark early. and its freezing....30s at nite 70ish during the day.i feel like an icicle

Christmas being done is the best thing about January. It's hectic and expensive, and in spite of that I do like Christmas. Glad to see the back of it though too.

Put the fan heater on and put one of these in the light socket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a bit old fashioned, I've got light bulbs that do all sorts of colours and effects :dunno:

I normally like this time of the year, the air feels crisp and it is nice to see the seasons change.

With my boiler being kaput since saturday it has reminded me how difficult things can be.
