You needed to read the link - my post was made in the light of the claim that her husband IS NOT a diplomat, and isn't on the diplomatic list.
That being the case (maybe) extradition proceedings are the next step.
I certainly don't think that giving up is an option, but am devoid of optimism for a positive outcome.

He was found guilty of breaching the Bail Act and on 1 May 2019 he was sentenced to 50 weeks in prison - your statement is therefore 100% incorrect.
