A fascinating revelation, but now she is back in the US we are seemingly on the wrong end of a very one-sided extradition treaty.

It's not extradition in an immunity case, that comes after immunity is agreed or not. If it is disagreed then the US will refuse to extradite the suspect so basically it's a waste of money and we should give up.

Do you think that we should give up?

No, and she should be held to account. She lied to police.

Trump has just hit the UK whisky industry with a 20% tariff, what's the point of carrying on?

There is no chance of this woman being returned to our shores for justice under the current administration.

You needed to read the link - my post was made in the light of the claim that her husband IS NOT a diplomat, and isn't on the diplomatic list.

That being the case (maybe) extradition proceedings are the next step.

I certainly don't think that giving up is an option, but am devoid of optimism for a positive outcome.

I think it's time we let unconvicted Assange out of Belmarsh.
We're only holding him for the Yanks after all.

Don't know where the connection with whores is Tom but your country tops the list of unpaid congestion charges for US diplomats in London owing a whopping £11.5 million.

He was found guilty of breaching the Bail Act and on 1 May 2019 he was sentenced to 50 weeks in prison - your statement is therefore 100% incorrect.

I know lots of people who jumped bail and the biggest sentence I ever heard of was three months and never in a top security prison.
