Alice Trout Moves Mysteriously

Postby KeithTas » Sun Mar 17, 2013 4:34 am

Was anyone around London in the late 60's early 70's to see the Alice Trout Moves Mysteriously graffiti posted up everywhere. It rivaled the Free George Davis and George Davis Is Innocent (which he wasn't) campaign. Who the fuck was Alice Trout.

I was in London in 1974 and saw this on a hoarding on (I think) Clapham Common- the lettering was neat- it did not look like typical graffiti at the time . It stuck with me over the years and I have been puzzled by its meaning. I have asked many friends over the years, but no one has been able to give me an explanation.
